12consecutive vellum pages on 6 leavesfrom a very old Ethiopian Coptic Christian Bible written in Ge\'ez script.Ge\'ez is an ancient African language that originates fromYemen,the home of Sheba the Queen/wife of the Hebrew king Solomon circa 900 B.C. The binding cord in still present at the center of these leaves.These bibles are never dated and I do not know how old this single leaf is,but vellum Ethiopian bibles were generally discontinued in the mid 19th century.
