All Carnival Glass from the Golden Age of Carnival (1907-1930) is iridescent pressed glass made in the United States (except where noted), to compete with other American & European high-end glass firms. Each individual piece was poured, tooled, shaped and colored by hand. When the Great Depression hit, the \"pretty glass\" fell out of favor and could no longer be afforded by the general public. With the factories full of glass, they were eventually given away as prizes at carnivals and State Fairs. Carnival Glass is pure, classic Americana. No Two Pieces Are Ever The Same. Manufacturer: Imperial (Early 20th Century). Pattern: Star Medallion (aka Amelia).Color: Smoke. This is an amazing Milk Pitcher, with Blasting Hot Pinks and Purples, Neon Blues with Hot Copper & Gun Metal. This Color Combo is very Cool, just look at the pics, especially inside that Gorgeous Pattern! The iridescent satin treatment is incredibly smooth and is even throughout the Exterior. The Interior is Blasting with Purple Lime Green & Lemon Yellow.
