It is our pleasure to offer for your consideration from our personal collection in our smoke free home:A old Mexican Folk Art Clay Pottery, Large Piggy Bank with handle.This is a very unique and rare example of older style hand painted Mexican artwork with a wonderful aged patina .It measures approx. 13\" long and 12\" tall including the handle. It is approx. 8-1/2\" wide.We have owned this piggy bank for decades and we think it may date back to the 1930\'s or 40\'s.This piggy bank is quite old and has been used and handled, and it has wear and age that would be expected for a vintage item like this, so please do not expect it to look new. It has wearing of the finish and painted areas, scratching, staining, discoloration, paint loss and surface imperfections. The handle and one of the legs has been broken and re-glued. There is a small chip on the underside of the pig\'s nose. Inside, are a few coins. Please review all the pictures.This is relatively fragile since it is made out of clay, so we will double box it and pack carefully for safe traveling.
