This beautifulOLD \"OUTHOUSE\",near Mazama,WA, isone of the last oldouthouses that I know of, bya major road and still standing. It seems a lot of young people (once young) liked to push them over, so they are hard to find still standing, now. And, look at the color of the aging wood, all natural and never stained or painted. Also, the north sidewall is covered with a beautiful layer of yellow moss.I have been watching it withstand many harsh winters, and still it stands. Photographed as a piece of history.One of these winters it will bend under the extreme cold, snow, and wind. Many old homesteads and cabins have also gone with time and arehistory.
