NORMALLY, ONE WILL SEE ONLY A BLACK MARKER USED SHOWING WHAT THE PAWN SHOP HOPES TO SELL IT FOR – BACK IN THE DAY, THE PAWN SHOP INCISED THE SILVER OF PARTICULARLY VALUABLE PIECES WITH THE OWNERS (OR MAKER) INITIALS AND THEIR OWN CODE – IN THIS CASE, THERE IS A ‘C’ AND AN ‘=’ SIGN PLUS AN ‘F’ AND A ‘P’ (BOTH BACKWARDS). I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE Fred peshleskai as the silver work looks like his work but I am unsure and the other marks are just not clear enough for me to discern.
