Ceremonial bracelets of this nature are seldom seen on . It is designed in the chevron style (arrow) so that the turquoise reaches below the sleeve and rests on your hand. The free form Arizona turquoise measures a little over 1 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inch at its widest. There does seem to be a natural fissure in the turquoise but you can barely see it and cannot feel it when you rub a fingernail across it. It is not cracked and is in absolutely no danger. The inside of this cuff measures right at 5 inches with an additional gap of 1 1/4 inches.As with the older Native American jewelry, this piece is not marked, but it does test as sterling. The silver is heavy gauge and weighs a heavy 76.3 grams. The bracelet certainly is an antique and is in excellent condition.
