OLD ANTIQUE VTG 1940\'s ROYAL QUIET DE LUXE PORTABLE GREEN KEYS TYPEWRITER W/ CASE
This offering is for an all original, probably Ca 1940\'s, Royal Quiet De Luxe Portable Typewriter. The typewriter is marked \"ROYAL\" on the front as well \"QUIET DE LUXE\" on the front just above the keys. Under the lid is marked \"TOUCH CONTROL\". The back side of the typewriter again reads \"ROYAL TYPEWRITER CO INC NEW YORK MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA PROTECTED BY AMERICAN AND FOREIGN PATENTS\". The machine is in very nice condition as seen both above and below. There is only minor wear and look like it was used lightly. The paint is as close to 99% intact as you could hope to find and the names and decals are all in excellent condition, there is no rust on the machine and the original case is included. The case is in very nice, stable and usable condition but does have staining and some discoloration to the exterior. The locking latch, hinges and handle work perfectly, there is no key, however the originbal manual is included. The typewriters green keys are excellent and all of the moving parts seem to function properly. With just a minor cleaning and a bit of lubrication the machine should work well for some years to come. Overall the machine seems to be a fairly scarce and especially so in nice usable condition such as this example, it displays beautifully and will make an excellent addition to someone\'s collection, shouldn\'t it be yours!!!
