You are looking at a old wooden post and or banister. This item measures 6 1/2\" L x 6 1/2\" w x 27 1/2\" tall. The top to this item is 8 1/4\" L x 8 3/4\" w. This item does show it\'s age and use with some surface blemishes, however it is still a nice soild usable piece. Please look close and ask questions.
