These photographs by an unknown photographer who must have been very close to the family, seem to cover from about 1902 to the late 1920s. There seem to be some of GD Kirill\'s father, his time in exile, his active duty during the First World War, and then an extremely relaxed life in the South of France. Very few photographs are annotated on the back but where they are I hope my photographs enable you to work out who is who better than I can!

We post mostly on Tuesdays and Fridays but like to take special care with valuable items so they may take slightly longer.
This photographic site is new. It is called \'horsedrawnphotos\'. I was hoping to call it \'horsedrawndarkroom\' after the dark rooms used in the 1850s/60s by Roger Fenton etc, but objected to the name so we are left with \'horsedrawnphotos\'. As you can see, this site has very little or no response but your purchases are protected by Paypal as normal. I have another site called \'drawnbyhand\' which has over 2000 response. Because I had so many items on it it was difficult just to see the photographs. I will be selling my photo collection as well as those I had listed on \'drawnbyhand\' to pay for future foreign travel. I will be using the sale format rather than the \'buyitnow\' and I will also be selling ephemera etc. During the next few months I am selling photos of the Bombay Yacht Club in the 1940s, a very strong collection of personal photographs of the Russian Czar\'s relatives and other albumen photographs by Beato, Ponting, Zangaki, Bonfils, Sommer, Sebah and Abdullah. I am also selling a strong collection of chinese postcards and interesting Irish,Chinese and Korean stereoviews plus gypsy interest, fiddlers playing to dancing bears etc
I will combine posting and hold for up to ten days, but it is better if you do not pay until you can combine all you have bought.
