This listing is for a OOAK doll outfit consisting of a front-laced bodice, stomacher, petticoat, bum roll, and cape for a Scottish Highlander-, Outlander-, or medieval-inspired adventure for all of your 18\" dolls (such as American Girl and other similarly-sized dolls).
The lined bodice is made from soft cotton flannel and cotton in dusty grays, greens, and reds, and features 3/4 length sleeves with a contrast ruffle in a homespun-style red heather cotton, and a front-laced closure made of oatmeal-and-sage cotton ribbon and brass eyelets. The petticoat (skirt) is made from a beautiful sage-colored plaid homespun-style cotton fabric and ties at the sides of the waist with a ribbon. Worn under the petticoat, the bum roll is made from natural cotton muslin and twill tape to secure it around your doll\'s waist. The stomacher is held is place by the bodice lacing in a soft sage green-and-oatmeal floral pattern in cotton fabric. All unlined seams are finished in a Hong Kong finish.
The cardinal-red cape is handmade from luxuriouscotton velveteen and is fully lined with soft plaid flannel cotton. The cape has a beautiful antique-finished clasp to keep it secure around your doll\'s neck. The hood features a lovely gathered back detail, and is deep enough to protect for your doll\'s long tresses during the harsh winter weather. The cape\'s silhouette is flared, which makes it perfect for her outdoor adventures such as horseback riding, exploring, or any activities that a strong-willed and brave Highlander girl would do.
The bodice, petticoat, bum roll and stomacher were made from Kindred Thread\'s \"Outlandish: Highland Lass\" pattern. The cape was made using the Ivy Cape pattern by Melody Valerie Couture. Doll or shoes not included. This outfit comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
