The bodice is smocked and embellished with a wreath of bright roses and tiny white flowers, embroidered with silkembroideryfloss, tomatch the fabric. Pearls further embellish the embroidery. The full puffedsleeves are smocked and edged with delicate french cotton lace andembroidered each with a single rose.The tucked hem is edged with the same french cotton lace of the sleeves. Silk ribbon bows decorate each side of the bodice.The dress fastens in the back with button covered snaps.
