Very Unusual ORIGINAL FBICriminal Wanted Notification, 1948, \"ISSUED BY J. EDGAR HOOVER\", Wanted for violation of \"National Stolen Property Act\"

DESCRIPTION: TOTALLY ORIGINAL, EARLY FBI notification to a police department. What we would think of today as a wantedposter. Says \"WANTED, Henry Holmes\", has his name and SEVERAL aliases, hisfingerprints, available pictures, crimes, criminal record, family, and a great deal of otherdescriptive information. BORN IN ENGLAND......\"WANTED AS VIOLATOR OF THE NATIONAL STOLEN PROPERTY ACT\". This is dated Dec. 30, 1948.

Best thing is that this was DURING THE TENURE OF J.EDGAR HOOVER, Director, and his name (not signature) appears at the bottom,\"issued by\". Also has FBI offices and phone numbers listed on the back.

Excellent condition and quite suitable for framing!!! ABSOLUTELY ORIGINAL FBI WANTED POSTER!!!8\" x 8\", printed on heavy paper. A great early, authentic gangster/FBI/J.EdgarHoover/Dept. of Justice souvenir & collectible.
