This Ben Austrian print features 10 chicks in a hat with a handkerchief. As you can see, the color on the handkerchief is fantastic for its age. This print was authenticated as a Ben Austrian by Mr. Gore (Reading Art Museum Curator) in 1985. I happen to have the full print that clearly shows Austrian\'s signature. I have shown the full print only as a reference so you can see this is a cut down to oval size of a signed print. The signed print is not included in this sale. There are a few minor \"dots\" of what appears to be lost color (around the left of the hat). I have never taken this out of the frame and do not know if is dirty or is permanent. The print itself is just short of 14\". The frame is 21\". The back of the print has written \"Copyrighted and the year 1901\". The full size print (not included) shows the year of 1900 next to the signature. A wonderful addition to any collection.
