Up forsaleis a LLADROPORCELAIN STATUE OF A KNEELING DON QUIXOTE.This lovely figurine #5224 called “THE QUEST” was designed bySpanish artist Salvador Furio for LLADRO, issued in 1984 & retired in 1988.Statue is missing fingers on his right hand, but does not seem noticeable whenviewed from most sides. Lance is a ONE-OF-A-KIND replica handmade from wood & metal toreplace the original piece. Thisnow gives this LLADRO figurine a more complete look. A small bit of museum wax in his hand is therehelp keep the lance in place. Bottom of base is rimmed with some adhesive wax onto prevent shifting while on display. Quitea stunning piece overall!
