Youare offerding on an antique cast iron \"Humpty Dumpty\" still bank which dates from the 1930\'s and was manufactured by an unknown maker (some folks have attributed it to A.C. Williams, but I\'m not aware of any research that would confirm this). This is not a reproduction bank: it has a nice smooth finish with tight seams that you would expect of an original, and has no breaks, cracks, repairs, or other damage. Bankmeasures 5 5/8\" tall x 2 3/8\" wide, and is listed in Moore\'s \"The Penny Bank Book\" (item #42) with a rating of \"D\" (hard to find). There may have been repaint to this example, though it\'s possible that it came in the red color (research also does not uncover whether there were paint variations on this bank).
