This is an original oak mantel from the late 1800s. The wood is all solid with interesting carved details and the finish has a nice warm patina. The original beveled mirror is intact.

We have easy and reasonable delivery to NYC and Washington D.C. We also deliver to many other areas in the mid-west, including Texas. We ship a container to our L.A. location quarterly, so if you are not in a hurry you can save in shipping costs to California. Otherwise we have careful crating and packing services and will ship with a reputable commercial carrier.
Please note: our business is registered in four states, which mean that anyone having their items shipped or picked up in PA., CA., NY, or FL. will have to pay sales tax for that location.
Our items are carefully salvaged antique materials and furnishings. So please bear in mind they WILL have imperfections. This is part of what adds to their character. 90% of our products are made in the U.S.A. in the 19th and 20th century. So the quality andthe craftsmanship as well as the wood or other materials used is outstanding. Most will need refinishing, sandblasting, rewiring, etc. Unless it stated that they are already refurbished, refinished or rewired.
