You are offerding on an OriginalWWII Sleeve Flag from the D-Day jump of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions. These were typically removed from the soldiers \"Jump Jacket\" a week or so after the invasion and saved as a memento from that night drop. This is the typical printed thin cotton type Flag with unfinished edges. These were typically hand sewn on to the right shoulder by the paratroopers themselves (or machine sewn by regiment riggers) days before the invasion so locals could see that they were allied troops and not Germans.

This comes from mypersonal collection. I collected this and all of the 100s of patches and insignia that I havefor sale and have sold over the past months, as a child from approximately 1955 to 1965. Thanks for looking at mystuff!
