This is a beautiful victorian hand beaded handbag. Beads are glass and the workmanship and time that went into this is remarkable. The pattern is intricate and I can\'t imagine how long it took to hand string each glass bead. The bag is lined and hand stitched inside. The bag needs to be sewn on to the intricate filigree frame. Please view all photos. On one side of the bag, some of the beading is gone and one side of the filigree frame is broken. Not certain if it could be welded in some way. When the beaded bag is sewn onto the frame and the clasp is closed, one can not tell that the frame is broken on one side.I am hoping someone who is familiar with these handbags will take the time to fix it.These old handbags are next to impossible to find. I am hoping someone will love adding this to their collection.Bag is approx. 8.5\" in length and 8\" in width.
