Ornatebrasstheca case1,1inches high with hanging hook witha hairrelic of St.John Mary Baptist Vianney (1786-1859)French priest of Ars for 41 years and patron saint of all parish priests.

Ornate roundgolden brass case with flowery decorations on front, the interior is under glass on a blackcloth background with golden decorations. Therelic is composed of severalstrands of hair from the saint held in place by red strings and a golden decoration andplaced above the name labelwhich reads "ex.capillis -S.J.M.B.Vianney".

The back covercase is missing butthe strings seals and official redwax Church seal with Cardinal's hat and stem areallintact.
