Gorgeous, antique English sterling silver handled vase - London, 1833
Fully ans clearly hallmarked for London 1833 with a maker\'s mark for Joseph Angell I & John Angell I who registered and operated with this mark between 1831-1839.
The base, stem, body center & rim are Superbly and Deeply hand-chased and applied with elaborate vine & grape designs with additional fruit and long leaves on the base.
The handles shaped as vine branches with climbing vine in done very skillfully for a very natural look.
Work quality is truly exceptional all around - please examine pictures.
Condition is very good - no losses or repairs - no dings or dents - no monogram removal - very mild age ware - please view detailed pictures.
It measures 23.3 cm tall (9 1/4\") x 23.5 cm wide between handles - mouth is 12.5 cm in diameter - weight is 769 grams.
