Here is another marvelous, chubby, cabinet size, fat French character toddler in excellent condition that is often called the Twerp. She has an adorable chubby face, huge blue glass sleep eyes, outstanding original mohair wig and a fabulous fat French toddler body with the cutest big separate toes. She is wearing a fantastic antique red and white short dress, older matching red pantaloons, antique red with white button up the front sweater that matches her dress, fabulous antique shoes and socks along with her lacy bonnet with antique silk bows and she comes with her very own antique rattle. She is the perfect little French character toddler and of all the French toddler this one is my favorites. I also have her big 27” sister and they look fabulous together. This little one is 16\" tall and marked S.F.B.J. 247 Paris 6 and was born in France in the early 1900\'s by the SFBJ doll factory and has the nick name of Twerp. She has wonderful smooth, creamy bisque with no chips, cracks or hairlines and her coloring is fantastic. The sculpting to her fat cheeks, big dimples and wide pug nose is excellent. She has huge blue glass sleep eyes, all her eye lid wax along with painted lower lashes. She has a wonderful wide, up-turned pug nose, and the cutest full upper lip with open/close mouth and 2 molded front teeth. She is absolutely the most adorable character toddler in this petit size I have had in a long time. Her original mohair wig is marvelous short and messy like all little girls and boys have by the end of the day. Her hair is and has wispy bangs that frame her face perfectly. The reddish blonde color is stunning and the color brings out the face and coloring outstanding. Her original, fat chunky French wood jointed and composition fully jointed French toddler body is in excellent condition and still retains the original finish. There is some normal wear but no flaking and her big separate toes are adorable. She has wonderful chubby hands and fingers that are excellent but there is a couple paint chips on the tops of her fat fingers. She has a wonderful fat tummy and chunky thighs along with the cutest big fat feet. She is wearing an outstanding antique short red and white little girls dress in great condition. It has full cap sleeves and a round neckline and buttons in back. It’s tight to the waist with I think organdy and a red silk bow on each side. It has gathers at the waist in a beautiful flower print design so it flair’s out wonderfully around the bottom. It’s nice and short and full so she can twirl around and show off her pudgy legs and knees. Her dress does not quit button in back except for the button at the neck but with her matching antique button up the front sweater you’ll never notice. Her sweater is fabulous with white ribbing around the cuffs, down the front between the buttons and up around the neck with a wider band around the bottom. She is wearing old panties and I say a slip but in fact, I think, since they are knitted it must have been some part of a winter outfit. I looks adorable and she could also take her dress off and wear the sweater and the knitted slip and panties, so you’ll be getting 2 adorable outfits. She has the cutest antique socks that are short so you can see most of her chubby legs and her antique leather shoes are fabulous with long antique lace ties around the ankles. Her antique lace bonnet is fabulous with gathers around the edges with smocking around the top with another gathered ruffle edge. There are silk rosettes on each side and long silk ties. There is a marvelous over sized antique green and pink silk bow pinned on the side of her bonnet making her the most adorable toddler you will ever see, but the bow can be removed if you don’t like it. She insisted she be allowed to keep her antique rattle/top with ivory handle. The wooden top has mutli colored rings around it with a little hole on top that you can see a tiny round pea shaped piece of bone I think. So she can shake her rattle to drive you nuts or she can sit and spin it like the old wooden tops. She is a sight to behold and is the the perfect fat, chubby, French character toddler and will make a stunning addition to any French character collection, plus how can you not love this adorable little toddler. This outstanding, hard to find, cabinet size 16\" SFBJ 247 Twerp character toddler can sell for well over $2800.00 but my reserve is less so don\'t let her toddle away.
