This is such a cool bag and it has an adorable little key!. I do not have the history at all, but it would make a great doctor\'s bag.... if doctors still carry doctor\'s bags.

Dimensions are approximately 18\" in length. The height is adjustable, but the way it isphotographed it is about 8\" high, could be stretched up an inch or two with the little belts on each side. The width is hard to say because it depends entirely on what is inside. It could be anywhere from 7-13\" wide. As shown it would be about 10\" wide. As for the \"almost hole\" it is the light colored circular spot shown in the 7th and 8th photographs. The spot is about the size of adime and the threads are very thin, fraying on one side.
I used it as a prop for a nutrition websitetouting fresh produce instead ofpharmaceuticals (see last photo thrown in for fun).
