This offering is for a beautiful example of painted pyrography that features a very folky portrait bust of a Native American Indian. The folk art wood portrait was done by wood burning and the outlined ares painted in. The portrays the fellow wearing a full headdress and striped shirt. The artwork was done on an early 3 ply plywood and it\'s dated on the back side \"MARCH 1909\", the artist did not sign his or her name. The colors are bold yet slightly muted with an excellent deep patina. The portrait measures 14.5\" in diameter and there are a couple of small rubs and scrapes but as you can see from our photo\'s nothing that distracts from the work. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 18.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
