Presented for your consideration is this lovely lotus motif carved porcelain brush pot with celadon \'Qingci\' glaze. Marked with a 4-character stamp in what appears to be chinese on the base. Confucian scholar Zhou Dunyi wrote; \"I love the lotus because while growing from mud, it is unstained.\" Excellent condition, showing no chips, cracks, or any other visible damage. Measures 5\" inches tall and 4\" diameter.
