These are absolutely gorgeous signs , I make them from start to finish out of 1/2 inch thick mdo plywood primed and painted black. The letters are imitation gold leaf with a burgundy outline and the hand is painted antique white. All scrolls are gold also. Then I clear coat them with three layers of clear wet sanding in between coats. They turn out fabulous. The best part is you can choose which way you want the sign vertical or horizontal and you pick which way the hand points. you can also have it made with no hand at all if that fits your needs.
