Late 1800s full size 4/4 Friedrich August Glass violin in excellent condition structurally no cracks or separations of any kind. Many small markings surely on its Old Amber varnish, and a reddish stain on the back. The only other imperfection being a small chip of wood from the edge near the bottom of the violin on the treble side as pictured. Wonderful fine grain Spruce top , with curly maple back ribs neck and masterfully cut curly maple scroll.Violin is set up with ebony parts. The old pegs are still holding well. Violin has a large resonant projecting tone. We guarantee you will get the violin pictured and presented in the video and that your violin will arrive fully set up with new strings and ready to play.
