Antique Trade StimulatorDescription:Presented for your consideration is this neat antique trade stimulator machine. The 3 reel style machine dates to the 1930s-40s and was made by Groetchen. This is the Champion model. The machine takes 1 cent American pennies which are dispensed into the top right corner of the machine. A plaque near the top of the front reads \"Sparks. Your coin buys ball of delicious fruit gum, always fresh. Watch the reels spin around and try to line up three symbols of a kind for additional amusement.\" Underneath the plaque are three viewing windows for watching the reels. The reels have pictures of packages of different kinds of cigarettes on them. Cigarettes pictured are: Camel, Fatima, Kool, Lucky Strike, Chesterfield and Wings. The metal casing has a dark grey, red and navy blue coloration. Front of the machine has a small window on the left edge for viewing the gumballs with the gumball dispenser under the window. Back panel of the machine easily lifts on and off of the machine to access the mechanisms. Mechanisms look to be in good condition. Comes with the original key. Dates to the late 1930s-early 1940s. This interesting machine would make a nice addition to any trade stimulator or coin-op collection!
The machine is not currently working, needs some adjusting to get it working properly. Springs of the machine look good. The machine was cosmetically restored at one time. Original label on the back of the machine has worn. Overall the machine is in VERY GOOD condition. Sold AS FOUND. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
