Old hand carved serpentine jade figurine of a group of 4 deer on awood stand.There are 2 bucks (male) and 2 does (female) in thegroup. The brown face ofthe buck on the left is from the natural color of the jade stone, it is not a defect.The tail of the doe deer in the front is different from the other doe. The backsideof the tail was either cut different or was broken in the past. Itwas this way whenI got it years ago. Does not show from the front. Please use zoom on photo #4.Jade piece alone measures approximately 7\" wide, 2 5/8\" deep and 5 3/4\" tall.Jade figurine on the stand is approximately 7 5/8\" wide, 4\" deep and 7\" tall.Heavy figurine, weighs 1 pound and 12.4 ounces (jade alone is 1 lb 8.1 oz).Light pencil marks on the bottom of the jade. The line on the bottom rightside is not a crack, it is only the natural vein of the jade rock. See photo #12.This is a good time of the year to have these deer. They look like a group ofreindeer so you could use them as a Christmas decoration. They would alsomake a very nice gift to that special someone at Christmas time.In pre-owned used condition.
