Vintage Mallard Working Duck Decoy with Unusual Bottom - Unknown Maker
Terrific, very old wood decoy in great shape. Great detail, especially around the bill. Metal tack eyes. All original paint. Measures 16\" long with thin body. The bottom is entirely covered with metal that form fits around the edges and is secured with ten nails. In addition, there is a round lead weight secured with straps. There is also a screw eye at the front of the bottom.
