Nice old hudsons bay company trade dag knife with original leather sheath. It is all hand made, deer antler (stag) handle with pewter cap near blade. Forged iron blade with a good heavy patina \"in the blade\". Good bold hallmarks KN and HB. I can opnly guess the KN is the blacksmith who made the knife. From the fur trade era 1800\'s. Traded to the indian tribes for their furs. Thanks for looking.
