This rare and well made old Navajo necklace is 16 inches long from end to end and could easily take an extender chain if you like them longer. The dramatic 3 stone pendant drop the center is 4 3/4 inches long. There is two pendant drop on either side and a single pendant drop on the ends. These are all strung squash blossom style on a double strand of old sterling bench beads that are 8 MM in width. The beads join to form one single strand at the ends and the clasp is hand made hook and eye. The weight is 140 grams and this necklace does test to be sterling (beads and pendants). The natural turquoise stones are in wonderful vintage condition with only two showing some cracks that could be matrix related (matrix loss). All stones are set tight in plain bezels and surrounded by applied twisted sterling wire and wonderful stamp work around the edges. The tops of the settings are adorned with gracefully applied sterling leaves and rain beads. It\'s a wonderful old classic Navajo necklace and rare to find these days.
