SIZE: Approx. 6 1/2 x 9 inches. Unframed.

Signed, bottom right. On old yellowing card stock. Light crease, bottom right corner. Edge tear, top left, and a small 1/8\" tear on lower right edge that might be hard to see.

The subject appears to be a whimsical version of the iconic \"snake charmer\". Of course, it isn\'t exactly snakes that are being charmed, and the flute player might himself be a mythical creature, perhaps a satyr.

The incredibly fluid lines, the ingenious composition and general feel of this piece screams Picasso. It will be a real tour de force once it is framed.

Sadly, as no provenance has survived, it is being sold \"as is\", d\'apres.
