You are offerding on a vintage Reel-Lectric 1000, electric spinning reel, manufactured by Old Pal. This is an estate sale find, and comes with the carrying case, charger, two batteries, extra reel, instruction booklet, original invoice, and special order manifest. According to the paperwork, this reel was purchased at Zork Hardware in El Paso, TX on September 27, 1967, as can be seen in the photos. There are initials on the top of the case WLS, probably to identify the original owner. If this reel was used at all, it was very little. The extra reel still has the original covering on it and does not appear to have ever been opened. I charged both batteries, and installed each one on the reel to test the operation and both cause the reel to spin. Since this is a vintage item, there are no guarantees as to how long the batteries will hold a charge, but I have charged each one overnight. The carrying case has some dust and signs of storage but I think a little cleaning will make it look like new!
