Nice old hand-carved tropical wood storyboard from Palau Island in the Micronesian Islands of the Western Pacific.

Circa 1940’s - 1960’s. Mid-Twentieth Century.

This traditional storyboard pictures life on Palau as it once was, with palm trees,native architecture and three Palau Islanders in tribal or native clothing. The carving is quite expressive and the old wood has developed a nice patina over the years, from age and handling.

The back has an old typewriter written piece of thin tissue paper taped to it with old scotch tape. It has some information about Palau and the history of the storyboards. CONDITION:

Good condition, as shown in the photos and with the following noted: No damage or repairs. Nice old patina. The paper on the back has some small tears and yellowing to the paper and tape.~ please click on the image for larger - high definition photos ~
