Old Pawn GOLD CORAL NECKLACE Heishe Choker Santo Domingo Pueblo Heishi spirit~SW:

Awesome old pawn choker necklace with rare gold coral pieces (very hard to find now) and natural/off-white wafer thin heishi (I\'ve never seen any as thin as these), handmade by an unknown native artisan, most likely from Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo in New Mexico. Unsigned.

The coral pieces are about 3/8\" long, and the heishe beads are a little over 1/8\" wide. The necklace measures about 16\" in length and closes with a silver hook and loop type clasp. The small silver beads are likely sterling silver, but it is unmarked and has not been tested.

Good vintage condition. The stringing wire has stretched a bit so that there is a gapafter the heishe beads near each end (by the claspand hook). There is some patina/tarnish on the silver that could be polished off if desired, but I will leave that to the new owner.
