It is because they are so hard to find. These manta pins were used by the Pueblo women to actually hold their manta dresses together. The older ones have been lost, broken or converted over the last century making these super hard to come by. This one is absolutely over the top gorgeous! Large and dramatic, as it SHOULD BE! :)

No matter WHAT is happening... I take time each morning, BEFORE I get on the computer to run out to garden and see who has GROWN that night and see what gifts my garden has to give me, I revel in the beauty I have CREATED and ignore whatever pressing STRESS seems to be coming my way. I highly recommend this. Also, waking up and eating a big piece of homemade MUD CAKE is also quite awesome... I recommend this, too--good fro the SOUL!Enjoy:
