Here is a terrific old pawn (sorry but thepawn ticket was lost) silver inlay face kachina with wolf, coyote design pendant. This pendant is Zuni made. The pendant weighs 45 grams (that is an ounce and a half - good solid weight). The pendant measures 4\" long (with bail 4-3/4\" long) x 1-3/4\" wide. The silver is coin or higher. The inlay face measures 3/4\" long x 3/4\" wide. The inlay face has white mother of pearl, red coral, blue turquoise, black jet. The work on the face is stone to stone which is very labor intensive. The feathers around the kachina face is all hand stamped as is the wolf, coyote designs. This is one of a kind - I have never seen another kachina like this in all my years of collecting. Would look great on a woman or a man -- unisex. This is another unusual item from my personal collection that I am now thinning out. This pendant has been kept in a protective bag. This pendant is sold as found and a final sale. There is no damage to the inlay face or the silver work that I can see. The pendant is not signed but not unusual for an older piece.
