This item is an old ca. 1945 Roseville \'Freesia\' blue glazed pair of 5 inch bookends, in shape #15, with both bookends in excellent, but not quite mint, condition.One bookend has a tiny nick on one corner, and the other has 2 bottom rim nicks, and we are showing all in close-up views in the attached photos.There are no other flaws. No other chips, no cracks, no hairlines, no repairs, nor are there any other flaws. Each bookend stands about 5 inches tall, each is about 5 inches wide, each is bottom marked with the old Roseville, U.S.A. 15 marks, as we are picturing, and the pair is exactly as pictured and described. We are leaving the green felt protection strips on both BE\'s, which a former owner has attached, as they do provide some protection for furniture or other such surfaces.Roseville introduced this Freesia line in 1945, according to the Bomm Roseville book. Wish they didn\'t have those nicks, but then these old Roseville pieces are becoming very difficult to find in perfect condition at the local Midwest estates any longer, and we look at many estates now to even find one piece in any condition.See images for more details.
