Offered here for your consideration is aOld Russian Cast Iron Kasli Foundry E Lanceray Cossack Horseman Sculpture. We do not make a guarantee with regard to the date of this figure. It could be from the later part or from the earlier part of the 20th century. The figure is cast in several pieces and secured above the plinth and in one rider\'s leg.
The sculpture is in overall as is condition with a break in the arm and losses to the hand (as well as a loss to what the figure held). There is loss to one horse\'s tail and losses to the the gun of the other rider. There are bends to the reins, rust in spots, wear to the finish, light bends and indentations here and there, light surface scratches and scuffing throughout, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
