You are offerding on an antique Mortlock Island, Caroline Islands, Mask, Micronesia. These are rare and this one is a pre tourist era probably dating from around 1930-1940. The dies are not commercial paint and the show a lot of wear especially the white that it seems comes off easily compared with the black die. The mask is 13 inches tall and 6 inches wide on the lower section. The back shows usage and patina and probably the black die spilled a bit on the back at one point. GREAT RARE PIECE. and have fun... and offer high:-)
