This offering is for an original antique ca 1910\'s Printed Cloth Stuffed Doll. The doll was made by Saalfield Publishing Co and measures a very nice 16.5\" in overall height, please note that although she currently stands she slumps over due to settling of the stuffing which appears to be kapok. There is also a small hole in her neck seam on each side and two smaller holes in her elbow on one side that need to be mended. Aside from that she has minor fading and scattered soiling. The dolls design incorporated an oval base which when properly sewn and stuffed allows her to stand. The printed design includes a dress with a high belted waist having a large bow at the back and roses on the front like she is carrying them in her dress, possibly a bride doll? This particular design seems to be quite scarce and will be a great addition to any collection.
