This is an older hand carved wooden Duck Decoy carved by S.C. Jacobus Lewistown Illinois. It is signed and dated on bottom. It is carved with wild cherry wood. The decoy isjust under 7 inches long. There is some glue around the neck. I assume this was how the carver made it. It does not look like it has been broken. Looks to me like that is how the maker made it but I do not know.
