The Olympia\'s SM models from West Germany are generally regarded as some of the best manual typewriters ever engineered. A fine machine to write on and long hours of creation. Olympia portable typewriters are known for craftsmanship, quality design, and continuous innovation.They were the epitome of German engineering. Regarded by many as some of the best manual typewriters ever produced. They are solid, well-constructed machines. A beloved typewriter among professional writers.
Condition:
The typewriter is in perfect condition, it has been carefully well maintained, it looks almost new. It has a prettyolive green texture over its metal body, complemented by the squared plastic keys and knobs, and various chromed details.A very solid and stable typewriter, it has a smooth and fluent typing, perfect for long periods of writing and creation. It has been carefully cleaned and relubricated. It has a German (QWERTZ) keyboard. All keys had been tested and they are working in great condition. The typewriter has the original original portable gray wooden case.It has a German (QWERTZ) keyboard which can be used also by english native speakers.The QWERTZ keyboard is like the QWERTY keyboard, only the positions of the \"Z\" and \"Y\" keys are changed. All typewriters are wrapped with 6 or 8 layers of bubble wrap to protect it well as possible during the shipping process, we fill the spaces with bubble wrap and recycled paper, the typewriter itself will be protected with 2 layers of waterproof plastic.We ship using strong recycled boxes and paper.
