Speculaas are Dutch(like theSpringerle in German) spice cookies made at Christmas time. The overall dimensions are approximately8 1/2\"long/tallby6\" wideand1\"thick.This hasbeendisplayedon awallfor30 years. Could alsosit on ashelf.Mold had been alteredto hang when I got it.I boughtthisat an antique storein 1985.Dealer stated origin was Dutch European dating to the 1800s. Thoughtthedesign was interesting.Condition is verygood, please refer to pictures for condition confirmation and details.I think the wood has a nice richaged patina.As I understand, the molds were oiled when used and this would darken the wood over time.
