- 19th-early 20th Century Chinese art, (from myunderstanding,research, andconversationswith other collectors of Chinese Antiques) Kingfisher pieces were often and almost exclusively used to decorate crowns and tiaras in the ladies presented before the Qing court... Measurements i have taken...
- Wood frame length, top to bottom at longest point is 6.75\" (measured down middle small loop to small loop),
- wood frame at widestpoint right around the gold area just under the flower is 7\",
- woodfrom at its shortest horizontal point, right at the base before the 2 tassels is 3.75\",
- thelength of each of the golden tassels, tassel hairs alone is 8\"-8.25\",
- thelength of the piece between the tassel and the wood frame is 3\"...
