For sale here is a lovelyONOTO 5501 PISTON FILL FOUNTAIN PEN, with 14K SOLID GOLD BROAD ITALIC FLEXIBLE NIB in BLACK CHASED HARD RUBBER (BCHR) in EXCELLENT CONDITION having been fully professionally serviced with new seals fitted!!
GENERAL CONDITION;Excellent used condition. There are no dents or cracks anywhere. In full working order, having been professionally serviced (disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, new seals fitted, reassembled and write tested).
CAP;Excellent. No scratches, dents or cracks. Chrome plated clip in good condition, some plating loss - nice and tight. Has \"TRD\" for Thomas De la Rue written down clip.
BARREL; Excellent condition. No cracks, dents or scratches. Made out of a lovely black chased has rubber. Imprint reads \"ONOTO THE PEN DE LA RUE & CO LTD LONDON\". Also has \"5501\" embossed at the end of the barrel which is the model number. Piston filler released by twisting blind cap at end of barrel.
NIB;Excellent condition. 14K SOLID GOLD Broad ITALIC flexible nib. Has \"DE LA RUE ONOOTO 14CT LONDON\" written on it. Large amount of flex possible depending on pressure applied - please see writing samples.
FILLER;Piston filler - just place nib in ink, twist blind cap to release piston, pull back piston then push back down to suck up ink - in excellent condition, having been professionally serviced, with a new seals fitted and in full working order - large ink capacity.
