Waterhouse Wallhangings of Boston~ ~ ~ Belle Epoque Pattern ~ ~ ~SPECS:
This "Buy-It-Now" listing features the "Belle Epoque" pattern, an historical reproduction wallpaper produced by Waterhouse Wallhangings of Boston. For nearly fifty years, the Waterhouse firm specialized in high-end wallpapers that have been used in such prestigious institutions as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Old Sturbridge Village, Historic Deerfield, and Strawberry Banke, as well as in numerous historical societies, museum houses, and private homes. The "Belle Epoque" pattern is a precise reproduction of an English or German wallpaper dating from circa 1860-1870. This reproduction was screen-printed by hand! The wallpaper is packaged in triple roll bolts. Each triple roll bolt is 15 yards long, and 27" inches wide. Each triple roll would cover about 90 square feet. The wallpaper is un-trimmed, and un-pasted. This is the original, document coloring. The design has a 12 inch vertical pattern repeat, and is a straight across match. Each of the gold motifs is about 6 inches in height, and is about 6" distant from the next motif. The Buy-It-Now price is $90 for one TRIPLE ROLL BOLT, as described above.
I always decline to "describe" colors, but I would say that this is metallic gold, on a soft dove-grey background.
