That one day a year when All! of us stop what we are doing, to drive to either Eugene, or Corvallis... or, maybe just tuning into the tube - or the radio. But one thing for certain, for that 3-hour slot once a year - life stops, and all the focus is in the Stadium. If you\'re a Duck? Then it is likely you will consider this game one of the most-important Civil War\'s of all-time... the 105th Civil War, played at Autzen, in 2001. This was the Harrington era, and all of the chips were on the table for this one - as the Beavs could have played the serious spoilers, and frankly - they almost did. A Harrington fumble, and \'near\' fumble lost in the 4th Quarter put the Ducks Faithful\'s collective hearts in their throats - but when it was all said & done... this meant a Glorious trip to the Fiesta Bowl! Where the Quack Attack was Victorious! Just simply dismantling the Colorado Buffaloes. And keep in mind, this was when Colorado was still pretty good. This game was actually fairly close too, before the Beavs had a little run of their own - during that Chad Johnson, Housh, Barnett era. I myself have been a Ducks Fan for close to 25-Years now, and to me - Civil war wise... 1994, 1997, 2001, and of course 2011 have been the best \"Wars\" from a Ducks Fan perspective. So the story on this glass (finally, right? - Ha!)... it is a good one, as I was in a bar in Bandon, Oregon which was quite a \'different\' type of place, to say the least. And while we we\'re eating, the bar keep pulled a few of these out of the box - and I saw the logo. I begged to by one, and was told no... we aren\'t supposed to sell them - but then, my offer went up - again, and again... until the bar keep changed here mind. This beauty of a Ducks/Beavs Collectible from 2001 is still Brand New, and has been \'collected-only\' in a paper bag - ever since that late-October 2001 day in Bandon. Quite the rarity, awesome Civil War collectible, and definitely for Ducks fans remembering 2001! Upon close inspection, I have noticed a bit of surface wear on the outside of the glass (tiny marks/scratches) - however, this one was that way when purchased brand new - as I saw it come out of the box, and from there - stored safely in the same bag I was given on that day in Bandon mentioned.
