Up for sale is a rare and large original Atlas/Map ofQueens, New York 1929. It measures 20 x 27 1/2. It is on linen and in Ex/Ex+ condition.Map covers the historic Lower Half of the Second Ward of Queens from Juniper Valley to Lutheran Cemetery.

The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, brown is stone, pink is brick. The Xs through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable. The brown streets indicate cobblestone while green indicates macadamized pavement and white means it is unpaved. And the light green lines on the mapshow who the first recorded and original landowners were as well as the original streets.
