Original working horizontal stationary steam engine, with itsoriginal black paintincluding goldpin stripes. Bore and stroke approximately- 2\"x3\". Theflywheelis2 1/8\"x8\".This engine is equipped with a Stephenson linkreversing mechanism. It has a pulley,and aDetroit \"KID\"hydrostatic lubricator.The engine would have been used in an application where a governor was not needed.The cylinder is lagged with cast brass, and has a lot of brass castings and parts.
This steam engine is mounted on a wood base, 18\"x24\". Engines weight including the wood base is 70#. I haveexamined and test run this steam engine and found itto be in excellent condition. The water bottle in the picture is 12 oz.
There are 12 pictures to show the condition of this original horizontal steam engine.
To ship -the crate size will measure 22\"x28\" x 12\". The approximate weight crated, not counting a pallet, is 92#. Thisengineafter being sold is to be picked up by the buyer. I am willing to build a shipping crate for $50.00. It would ship from my business zip code28679, and I would load the engine, no lift gate needed. The buyer is responsible for making all shippingarrangements and paying for them.
